Chainsaw man is a phenomenal show so far. It runs in the same vein as Jujutsu Kaisen: main character becomes part monster and is forced into hunting monsters so he is not himself hunter. Chainsaw is essentially Jujutsu Kaisen but just more absurd and intense. Chainsaw is animated by MAPPA so the animation quality is incredible, and is also reminiscent of Jujutsu Kaisen as it was also animated by MAPPA. Chainsaw man doesn't come with many voice actors I am already familiar with which is exciting as I might come across some new favorites. I actually covered up the subtitles with my hand for part of the show and was able to keep up with most of the day to day conversation. I quickly lagged behind when they started talking about plot and using more specified language but it was really exciting to see such direct improvements in my skills! I can't be too sure how good Chainsaw Man
will be as we are only two episodes in but I am super excited to see how this season unfolds!
