Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a cult classic in the modern anime community. I actually started watching the show way back in 2019, but couldn't manage to get myself invested in the story. I picked the show back up in 2022 and fell in love. The first two seasons are definitely a bit slow, however once you get to season three the show really picks up. The show is over the top in so many different ways, and this very quality is what has brought the show such widespread love across the anime community and pop culture at large. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the few anime to have a significant pop culture impact, as it has had several memes become hits outside of the anime community. I recently started rewatching the third season and have enjoyed this rewatch just as much as I enjoyed watching the show this past year. Overall I can't recommend Jojo enough, both as a piece of modern pop culture and as a fantastic show.
I have been able to pick up a significantly greater amount of words and expressions this second time watching, and as it is my second time I feel much more comfortable not relying on subtitles as I am already aware of the plot. This most recent chapter has significantly aided in my understanding of te-iru verb forms which are so commonly used throughout the show.
